With a diverse terrain and several different tracks, Cyprus is practically made for mountain biking. Bicycle rental shops are available in all towns and seaside resorts.

Although driving is on the left, the local traffic regulations are similar to European regulations.

‘Podilatokinisis’, the Cycling Federation’s club, organises various non-racing cycling activities that are open to everyone. Similar activities are also organized by the Limassol Cycling Club Tel: 25 76 30 70.

The Cyprus Cycling Federation (CCF - Tel: 22 66 33 44) organises races in spring, like the famous Afxentia mountain bike two-stage International Race. In autumn various other cycling events are scheduled, and everyone is welcome to participate. In late November the annual international mountain bike race is held in Agia Napa.
