Cat Sanctuary
Situated near Akrotiri village (off Lemesos-Pafos highway). The sanctuary, run by the Malcolm Cat Protection Society - a voluntary organisation helping the abandoned and needy cats of Cyprus - is a wonderful place to spend a few hours giving the loving cats and kittens some attention. Feline goodies as well as refreshments are available.

On a total area of approximately 1 hectare in a beautiful garden setting, the zoo is home to a variety of animals including lions, tigers, leopards, bears, mouflons, different kinds of birds, donkeys, baboons, porcupines, tortoises,
